The Incubation Centre for Teaching and Learning has designed a suite of initiatives to ignite new educational thinking and practice. The Centre will free captive ideas, enabling them to move around our campuses freely, be explored, developed and brought to life. 

Funded by the Higher Education Authority under the Strategic Innovation Fund, the Incubation Centre reflects our region’s commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. The centre’s remit includes the Shannon Consortium Educational Partners: The University of Limerick, Mary Immaculate College, Limerick Institute of Technology and The Institute of Technology Tralee. 

OUR MISSION

The mission of the centre is to support and drive innovative and creative approches to Teaching & Learning in Higher Education.  

OUR PROJECTS

The centre provides funding to support innovations in Teaching & Learning on a competitive basis.  The projects selected by the centres review panel will demonstrate a clear impact on the student learning experience and give rise to creative pedagogical change within and beyond the Shannon Region.
